Los ciudadanos del condado de Ventura han informado que han recibido llamadas de los n\u00fameros de tel\u00e9fono (805) 317-4523 y (805) 317-4533. La persona que llam\u00f3 se identific\u00f3 con varios nombres, como "Teniente Pete" y "Capit\u00e1n Alexander", ante la Oficina del Sheriff del condado de Ventura. La persona que llam\u00f3 no identificada NO es miembro de la Oficina del Sheriff del condado de Ventura y el n\u00famero de tel\u00e9fono utilizado NO est\u00e1 asociado con la Oficina del Sheriff del condado de Ventura.<\/p>\n

Generalmente, a la v\u00edctima se le informa que no se present\u00f3 a una audiencia judicial o que no se present\u00f3 a cumplir con su deber como jurado y que ahora tiene una orden de arresto. El autor de la llamada a\u00fan no le ha exigido dinero, pero le ha ordenado que se presente inmediatamente en el tribunal.<\/p>\n

La Oficina del Sheriff recomienda que no llame a un n\u00famero de tel\u00e9fono proporcionado por un
\nEstafador o un n\u00famero de tel\u00e9fono dejado en un mensaje de voz solicitando que le devuelvan la llamada. Siempre investigue antes de proporcionar cualquier informaci\u00f3n personal o enviar dinero.<\/p>\n

Si ha sido estafado y ha sufrido una p\u00e9rdida financiera, comun\u00edquese con la Oficina del Sheriff al (805) 654-9511 para presentar un informe. Tambi\u00e9n puede presentar una queja en l\u00ednea ante la Comisi\u00f3n Federal de Comercio en
